Dr. Eugen Gabowitsch (Karlsruhe, BRD) started to collect vodka at the beginning of the anti-vodka policy of Michail Gorbachov and the soviet Politburo, that mean at 1986. He collected not only full vodka bottles of different dimensions and shape but also all possible other curious objects with the word vodka written on them. Today he owns about 3000 full bottles of vodka from the majority of the European countries but also from different countries from other parts of the world. The cubic capacity of the varies from 5 ml till 5 l.

The catalogues exists for some single counties in which vodka was produced. A full computer catalogue can be completed if the amount of description parameters for single bottle shall be determined in a co-ordinated way.
